Commercial Installation Helper
Wayne Dalton of Syracuse is seeking a reliable and hardworking Commercial Installation Helper to join our team. As a Commercial Installation Helper, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced technicians in installing, repairing, and maintaining overhead doors for our commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation and repair of commercial overhead doors, including rolling steel doors, sectional doors, fire doors, and more
- Help transport equipment and materials to job sites
- Measure and cut materials to required dimensions
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on overhead doors
- Responsible to drive and maintain company owned truck during working hours
- Ensure a safe work environment and follow all safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Valid New York State driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Previous experience in construction or a related field
